Diogo Pina: "It's going to be difficult but we're going to Pêro Pinheiro to win!"

DIOGO PINA, PLAYERS OF FUTURE striker, is one of the regular starters in the Serpa team. This Sunday (3 pm), the Alentejo team visits Pêro Pinheiro in a match counting for the third round of the Portuguese Cup. In the two previous games of the premier competition of Portuguese football, Serpa defeated Padernense (1-0) and Gouveia (2-1, one of the goals scored by DIOGO PINA).

- How do you foresee this Sunday’s challenge?

- We expect a difficult game in Pêro Pinheiro, but I feel that if we put into practice what we have been working on, we will be able to advance to the next round of the Portuguese Cup. It's going to be difficult but we're going to Pêro Pinheiro to win!

- Regarding the lack of victories in the Portuguese Championship, DIOGO PINA is clear:

- In my opinion, the solution to winning matches is to play as simply as possible and be objective and pragmatic in decisive moments.

- Do you feel that the team is on the rise?

- Yes. My answer to this question is in line with what I said in the previous one, we have improved a lot in the last few weeks and the goals and results will appear naturally. Without a doubt!

- How is the season going on a personal level?

- On a personal level, I think it's going well, after eleven months off. My main goals were to get minutes back, regain my confidence and be happy playing football. We are going through a bad time in terms of results and it is not easy to manage, but if we continue to do what we have been doing, I know that in the end we will smile and achieve the objectives proposed by the club.
