GUILHERME ROMA, PLAYERS OF FUTURE forward, was particularly prominent in the attack of the V. Setúbal team, scoring one of the goals and providing an assist in the Sadinos' 5-2 defeat of Estoril-Praia, in a match counting for the 20th round of the South Zone of the National Junior Championship.
- Another game as a starter, first goal with a Vitória shirt. Happy with your showing?
- Yes, it went particularly well for me. I assimilated doing my job based on what was asked of me by my technical team for this specific game. Mission Accomplished!
- Was it your best game for Vitória?
- It is really important for me to realize that if I am a player dedicated to training during the week, I will be closer on the day of the exam, to having more chances of passing the much-desired exam with distinction. I feel that I played a good game, I was productive for the group and that is naturally the most important thing and of course, the goal and the assist are reasons for happiness.
- How is the adaptation phase to the team going?
- I arrived at the beginning of October. Getting to know the club, colleagues and structure takes a normal period of adaptation. My good adaptation to Vitória is largely due to all the people I mentioned who welcomed me so well. My connection has been very positive and I feel very happy to belong to a fantastic group.
- How did the game against Vitória go?
- After 4 minutes we were behind on the scoreboard and I couldn't imagine ending up 5-2. Estoril has a great team, the place it occupies in no way matches the potential of the group and its values. Now we play like a team of real soldiers. An attitude and a dedication that makes me very proud, playing every shot without fear of making a mistake, fighting on the field, constantly having the ball and not letting the opponent play was what we managed to do. A battle deservedly won, we were in fact the formation that never lowered its arms at any time. Yes, this is Vitória’s DNA!
- Torreense is the next obstacle. Difficulties in sight?
- It will be another game and another final. We will face a direct rival with goals similar to ours. They are coming off a defeat, playing at home, and they certainly want to win. It is up to us to be a Vitória with determination and commitment. We are going to Torres Vedras with a very clear purpose... which is in search of victory. It's going to be a knockout and we want to kill. We are a resilient team, and that makes us a team to be reckoned with and one that knows very well what it wants.
