A goal and an assist from GUILHERME ROMA, PLAYERS OF FUTURE forward, helped Vitória to a draw (3-3) in Alverca, in a match counting for the 17th round of the National Junior Championship A. GUILHERME ROMA was in very flat on the attacking front of the Sadina team that maintained eighth place overall with 20 points. V. Setúbal-Benfica will be played next Saturday and the Sadino striker has already made the request to Santa Claus: three points in his shoe!
• Another starting game with the Vitória shirt and then in Alverca, a place he knows very well. How did you feel?
• I felt good, physically available and very satisfied with the interpretation and approach to the game on a personal level. Satisfied when we feel that our mission has been accomplished.
• He was instrumental in scoring two goals for Vitória. Happy?
• Of course, I'm naturally pleased with the goal and also with my assist for the first goal. Both the goal and the assist were only possible because there was a group that worked hard and well to make this the outcome.
• Is the rapport getting stronger?
• It's true that the interaction from day to day is better and I feel that in training and in the game.
My adaptation has been very positive, as a result of the trust of the working group and the entire staff and technical structure. My position is much more than scoring the goal, my characteristics for a striker are a lot of work, where availability is an important factor for performance and interpretation of the game. I have a very personal mission... to honor, dignify, fight and help Vitória on all fronts.
• Is the result fair?
• The draw felt a little while ago, I confess. I think that one of the parts of the game we didn't have at our level and the minimum requirements. I'm sure it was all of our mistakes... and we paid dearly, with the division of points. Even so, we proved that we were better by managing to turn the score from 2-0 to 2-3 and then, in the end, a draw. Learning from mistakes is also part of it, but we are the only ones responsible, so it's work, work!
• Next is Benfica, leader of the championship. Difficulties in sight?
• We are VITÓRIA, we play at home, we want to win. We will certainly have the support of the fans who help us a lot.
The opponent is the leader and serves even more so that the motivation is different. We really want to have an early Christmas gift, we will do everything we can to make sure Santa leaves the three dots with us.
