Ricardo Barão's Olivais e Moscavide beats Fofó and adds his 4th consecutive victory

On the eve of facing Sporting, in a match counting for the third round of the Portuguese Cup, Olivais e Moscavide achieved an additional highlight by beating Futebol Benfica (2-1) in a match on the 5th round of the 1 .ª Division of the Lisbon Football Association.

Indeed, the team led by Ricardo Barão, PLAYERS OF FUTURE coach, never ceases to surprise and this Sunday went to Campo Francisco Lázaro to beat Fófó, 2-1, with goals from Joshua and Dani Semedo. With this victory, Ricardo Barão's team achieved their fourth victory in the last... four games played, three for the championship and another for the Portuguese Cup.

- Speaking to the PLAYERS OF FUTEBOL website, Ricardo Barão revealed:

- It was a difficult game as expected. In the first minutes we conceded a goal from a free kick taken from the direct side. Then we took control of the game and managed to reach a draw close to half-time. In fact, the first half was balanced with our slight upward trend. In the second half we were stronger, but Futebol Benfica had very dangerous transitions. We achieved victory seven minutes from the end, then it was time to manage and bring home the three points.

- Do three consecutive victories in the championship give you another motivation to attack the promotion to the Portuguese Championship?

- Not for now... the important thing is for us to win and add the three points game by game, especially because with the Portuguese Cup games we already have one game less for the championship and this weekend, against Interoeste, we will have another one to complete.

- Does this triumph over Futebol Benfica serve as a highlight for the challenge with Sporting, which will be played this Saturday at Reboleira?

- It will be the easiest game this season, for the players to enjoy and make the most of the day, and for us, the technical team, to savor the moment and continue to learn. These games are very important for that.

- How is the season going?

- I would like to take advantage of the interview to thank the Management of Olivais e Moscavide for everything they have done for us. It has given us great conditions to work daily. A word for my technical team, which is extremely important for our success. Without this technical team everything would be much more difficult.
